Following on from previous single Lost in the Post and inspired b-side Patricia the Stripper was always going to be difficult, and on Moving to New York, The Wombats have produced something far too similar, with a cliché ridden chorus. It's still a pleasant enough, harmony-filled rock song though, with a bouncing beat that would no doubt be a joy to hear live. B-side Party in a Forest (Where's Laura) is a far superior song, and while maybe less energetic still features amazing lyrics, more heartfelt sentiment and daring instrument choices. [Xavier Toby]
