The Troubadours - Gimme Love

The Troubadours are from Liverpool and, predictably enough, have obviously heard The Las' first album. Even more predictably, they've nicked their sound a bit. But the surprise is that this is actually a decent little tune. It sounds like it took about ten minutes to write, the vocals couldn't be more John Power if it was actually him, and it's inexplicable that someone felt the need to make this kind of record in 2007, but it's well-executed, catchy, and pretty irresistible as a result.
