The Morning After Girls - Run For Our Lives

One of those infectious records that thrums around your brain

Single Review by Keir Hind | 15 Jun 2006
Single title: Run For Our Lives
Artist: The Morning After Girls
Label: Best Before
Summery strumming with an indie sound from the excellently named Morning After Girls, only two of whom are actually female. This is one of those infectious records that thrums around your brain when it's over, but needs replaying to fully recapture the groove. The Morning After Girls are a five-piece from Australia who know how to handle their guitars, and sound a litte Dandy Warholish with their judicious use of tambourine and harmonica to enliven already excellent instrumental use. A nice light listen for a sunny afternoon. [Keir Hind]
This single is out on June 12. http://www.themorningaftergirls.com/
