Glaswegian girls with guitars can rock without getting their boobs and Shareen Nanjiani out like Courtney Love. The Hedrons debut single Be My Friend went down a treat at T in The Park and on CD it still sounds punchy, fresh and leaves you thirsty for more. Punky guitars, thrashing drums and the sound of lead singer Tippi make a formidable force. They have the energy and cut of an early Blondie with a modern rock twist.
