The Buzzcocks - Sell You Everything

There is little here that breaks, or even fills, the mould.

Single title: Sell You Everything
Artist: The Buzzcocks
Label: Cooking
The Buzzcocks proclaim "I hate modern music, disco-boogie pop" on this new single and umm, I'm going to assume that's a left-over lyric from 20 years ago because, guys, this pop-punk-lite stuff IS the new disco-boogie pop - with quasi-sneering rhyming dictionary vocals over four chord guitars that pretty much wrote themselves. But of course you should go out and buy this instantly, otherwise you can never say you're into punk-rock and everyone in the festival crowds will know you're a fake. Don't let the fact that it's hopelessly boring make you think otherwise. [Ali Maloney]
