Rodrigo y Gabriela - Stairway to Heaven

Covering a rock classic is often an unwise move, with little scope for improvement on the original and with the inevitable muso sneers resulting in an offering which will more than likely go down like a Led balloon. However, with a little imagination and bucketloads of guitar brilliance, Mexico's finest export have done it. Rodrigo y Gabriela's take on the Zeppelin masterpiece is superb; spine-tinglingly powerful and instantly addictive, the only drawback with this effort is that, being a radio edit, it's over in minutes.
