Paolo Nutini - Jenny Don't Be Hasty

At last the Scottish solo rock scene has some young blood, in the form of precocious Paisley-born Paolo Nutini. The 18 year-old has a rough-cut sound beyond his years which has been compared to the Rolling Stones, and he carries this original track well with some great riffs and licks. His rasping vocals do not betray his Caledonian roots: though it does him no harm to avoid The Proclaimers' route to fame, expect a letter from America, as this has a sound that's bound to go transatlantic.
