Naked and the Boys - If You Find Love

With only guitar, double bass and some minimalist drums to offer in
the way of instruments, Naked and the Boys have chosen a band name that
echoes the stripped down acoustic folk they play. Unfortunately this
stripping down of If You Find Love leaves it with little to hide its
utterly uninteresting albeit pleasant chorus. The unsettling contrast
between featherlight acoustic guitar and double bass is put to good use
on the hauntingly chorus-less B-side Trafalmadore, but if Naked and the
Boys intend on writing such simple melodies as the A-side they'll need
to start dressing them up a little more. [Shaun Love]
