Martyn - Suburbia / All I Have is Memories

This whole Dub/Tech fusion thing is just starting to get interesting as some of the key producers become more accomplished at a sound that’s got exciting times ahead. Martyn’s a Dutch producer who has a reputation for releasing D&B with Chicago & Detroit influences. He’s now becoming known for pushing deep D&B / Dubstep fusions, gaining him a diverse following amongst the Dubstep community. This latest release is on Appleblim’s newly launched Apple Pips label, and stands out as probably one of the finest moments in both his career and this new strand of music to date. Suburbia is a deep summertime cut, creating images of old skool summers and classic anthemic vibes, while All I Have... is a unique soundscape killer, with a devastating bottom end to boot.
