You may already be familiar with Daniel Merriweather as the lead vocalist on 2007's Stop Me and various other collaborations with producer Mark Ronson. This single, complete with horns, modern hip-hop stylings and Motown chorus, continues to tread the same predictable ground as previous Ronson outings and flatly refuses to go anywhere else. Merriweather's vocals on this debut are clean-cut and suited to the track, but along with the lyrics - very basic social commentary - seem lacklustre. The only saving grace is the appearance of labelmate Wale, whose rapping should really be the focus here. [Ryan Drever]
