The decade that brought us Britpop, Spice Girls and New Labour is back in band form, and this is their debut single. A bizarrely Quo-esque rock and roll number with little at all to get the ears going. The Glasgow trio's sound has been compared to, amongst others, the Velvet Underground and one listen to b-side Arcade Precinct confirms this, as an unashamed Walk on the Wild Side rip-off comes and goes as lamely as its flip side… and I thought the 1980s was the decade music forgot.
