Glasgow trio Scragfight put their twist on Riot Grrrl punk with new EP, Last Friday On The Underground. First track, Zombie Girl, is a yelping tale of meeting the undead girl of your dreams, topped off with wonky rockabilly licks and some utterly ridiculous - and therefore, brilliant - distortion. It's amusing for the most part, and when it kicks out the jams, so to speak, in the chorus, it becomes as endearing as it is utterly ramshackle.

Musically, the trend continues through the remaining two tracks, touching on the (often self-imposed) objectivity of modern women (Sexualised Horse Eye) and life in a close-minded town (Small Town Rejects). It's been done to death, but Zombie Girl is worth a listen alone. [Ryan Drever]
