WENCH's takeover on EH-FM, 19 Aug

This week we invited the team behind WENCH to come and takeover The Skinny’s weekly show on EH-FM’s community radio station airwaves. Featured in our Do Not Miss section of the August magazine, WENCH is a ‘female-led feast of punk, poetry, art, folk and electronic music, drumming together sonic talent from Glasgow, Edinburgh and London’ that’ll take place at The Old Dr Bells Baths down in Leith on Sunday 25 August.

The event is chockablock with performances, with Acolyte’s multi-stranded show of ‘jazz, poetry, storytelling and the surreal' (fronted by former Scottish slam champion Iona Lee poetry) alongside folk artist Amy Hill, singer-songwriter Lake Montgomery, Glasgow punk duo The Twistettes, and XICA (aka Jess Aslan), the ‘electronic maverick’ from London.
