TNGHT announce indefinite hiatus

Feature by News Team | 06 Jan 2014

LuckyMe and Warp-signed electronic duo TNGHT, aka Hudson Mohawke and Lunice, called time on their collaboration this week. They released a video (below), Waning Moon, which features pulsing synths and bass noise twinned with flashes of footage of the duo performing live, and storm clouds superimposed with their crescent moon logo. The video finishes with Lunice thanking the crowd.

The duo also posted an image on their Facebook page saying 'Until Next Time.' FACT Magazine reports that they spoke to LuckyMe, who confirmed the project is on hiatus so that the pair can both finish work on solo projects. Hudson Mohawke and Lunice participated in the LuckyMe Advent Calendar for 2013, with the label giving a way a track a day in the run-up to Christmas, including HudMo's Structure and Lunice's Steady Flexin (below). The tracks are still available for free download.
