Record Store Day 2017: Leeds events guide

Vinyl kingpins Crash and Jumbo open their doors for Record Store Day shenanigans, while a live showcase at The Key Club highlights some of Leeds' rising local talent

Record Store Day returns for another celebration of the unique culture of the independent music outlet, and we've put together this handy round-up of events in Leeds. Think we've missed something? Hit up will@theskinny.co.uk with the details...

Crash Records

The Headrow, Leeds, from 8.30am

Once again the vinyl stalwarts at Crash will be taking part in the Record Store festivities, with many of the hardcore heads no doubt queuing from as early as 5am ahead of the 8.30am opening. Keep your eyes peeled to the Facebook page for more updates on what to expect, or head to the Crash website to see what they'll have in stock on the day.

Jumbo Records

The Key Club (Merrion Street), Leeds, from 8.30am

Jumbo, meanwhile, will be teaming up with Dance to the Radio for a free showcase of emerging local bands at The Key Club down the road. Expect live sets from FLING, Mansion of Snakes, Drahla, Harkin, Dead Naked Hippies, FUSS and Behla Hutchinson throughout the day.
