Hydro Connect: more bands confirmed...

Article by Esme Jones | 06 May 2008

Joining already confirmed acts including Spiritualized, The Roots and Manic Street Preachers, Hydro Connect have now added on a few more contenders.

New additions include hauntingly soft yet electro-grungy Howling Bells, and Conor Oberst’s Scottish debut with The Magic Valley Band. The Gutter Twins, the pairing between Mark Lanegan (Queens of The Stone Age, Screaming Trees) and Greg Dulli (The Afghan Whigs, The Twilight Singers), will also be on show. Festivallers can also expect beatboxing from the legendary Beardyman and a hip-hop love-in from Michael Franti & Spearhead. Also confirmed are soulful crooner Foy Vance, and Asobi Seksu.

Catch a range of entertainment up at Inveraray Castle from burlesque night Club Noir to The Speakeasy Cafe, when you can have a wee coffee and catch anything from storytelling to comedy.
