Admiral Fallow call-out for emerging filmmakers

Feature by News Team | 06 Jan 2014

Glasgow-based indie folkers Admiral Fallow have put out a call-out on their website for filmmakers to contribute to the making of their next video project. The band are asking for "original video footage from emerging UK filmmakers for an exciting one-off screening / performance project based on the theme – Anniversary."

The brief continues: "This can be footage already completed or it can be footage you wish to produce especially for the theme... We want select visual sequences of 1-4 minutes, so this does not need to be a complete piece of fictional work, anything but really. For example, it might be an edit of a combination of scenes from a completed fiction piece, and we would welcome experimental, animated and abstract submissions too. Please note that any original audio is unlikely to be used without strong justification in a supporting statement."

Filmmakers are asked to submit an email pitch for their footage, along with links to previous work, a link to the footage being submitted, or a short pitch outlining intentions (max 750 words) before 10 January, with the final footage to be submitted by 31 January. Read the brief in full at Admiral Fallow's site. Below, watch footage of the band performing live in session at T in the Park 2010, recorded in association with Radio Magnetic.
