TEEFF – Sun Sets East: Video Premiere

Video by Music Team | 03 Mar 2017

Watch the video for Sun Sets East from nu-soul vocalist and producer TEEFF

The new project from Elizabeth Gandolfo, formerly of Brighton dream poppers Us Baby Bear Bones, TEEFF's sound is "like an unexpected, overwhelming affinity with a total stranger in the dim light of an ending party; intimate, uninhibited and enigmatic." Sun Sets East blends atmospheric synths with tight drum machine beats to create a great backdrop for TEEFF's vocals.

Describing the making of the video, TEEFF says: "This video was a guerrilla production. The set was made from found mirrors, the lights were programmed by myself and it was filmed and directed by a couple of friends. Every aspect of this project is DIY; if your hands aren't getting dirty it's no fun!"

TEEFF's DIY edge extends to her release plans – Sun Sets East features on TEEFF's debut EP Who Are You, Really?, which will be available digitally and on an individually decorated and customised enamel tooth. The tooth is a nod to the exploratory nature of TEEFF's sound, and to the EP's central theme – that people are a manifestation of their accumulated experiences, and everything that anyone says is a clue to what they've been through.
