Fauves – Head Spins (Track Premiere)

Listen to Head Spins, the new track from Glasgow art-pop band Fauves

Glasgow art-pop five-piece Fauves started life as the bedroom project of Ryan Caldwell, soon adding bandmates Ciaran Devlin, Jonny Glass, Rory Bradley, and Gianluca Bernacchi of The Vegan Leather. We were impressed by the laid-back grooves of early track Hit Like This, and now the band are set to drop their debut EP Les Fauves via Glasgow DIY label and promoter Spiral Oh ahead of a headline show as part of this year's King Tut's New Year's Revolution festival.

We have a sneak preview of the new five-track EP in the form of Head Spins, which you can listen to in the player below. Introducing the track, Ryan Caldwell says that Head Spins has evolved alongside the band. He says: ''Head Spins was the second song ever written/recorded for this project and it is one that we have played religiously at each show. It started off as a real indie rock tune but over the past few months it has went under some serious changes to turn it into the loungey piece that it is now.'' Listen to the track in the Soundcloud player below.

Les Fauves is out on 17 Jan via Spiral Oh; pre-order the EP on 10'' vinyl here
