Little Man Tate @ Barfly

If bands had IPO's, I would be watering at the mouth for LMT's.

Band of the future-moment Little Man Tate are here to make their first ever Scottish stop at the Barfly in Glasgow. The press momentum has been building steadily behind these four Sheffield lads; incessantly touting them as another Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, etc, etc, ad nauseum. Catchy-as-hell songs and a frighteningly loyal fan base haven't hurt their up-shot either. All this believable hype comes out of a well-rehearsed slick show of glee, hand motions, and buckfast-hot lyrics. LMT picks up indie right where it left off 2 minutes ago but with their own charming home-grown honesty. If bands had IPO's, I would be watering at the mouth for LMT's. [David Winton]
