Against Me! @ QMU, 27 Oct

 

While cleaning up their act considerably since first bellowing out Pints of Guinness Make You Strong, Floridian folk-punks Against Me! have incidentally turned into rock's next big thing. The band still has plenty of fight left in them, though, and bringing along Toronto's perennial hardcore favourites Fucked Up should leave the pit at QMU a devastated mess. Supporting their second Butch Vig-produced LP, the acclaimed White Crosses, and armed with a catalogue of songs sure to become known as punk staples of the oughts, the Gainesville gang is looking to infect the UK with their attitude.
