The Killers, CHVRCHES & Franz Ferdinand join TRNSMT line-up

Brandon Flowers' stadium rockers headline the TRNSMT's final day on Sunday 8 July, and they're joined by two of Glasgow's best-loved bands, each returning from their own hiatus.

CHVRCHES have been off the radar for much of 2017 while working on their third album – although they have recently contributed tracks to benefit compilations for Planned Parenthood and the Tegan & Sara Foundation – and they play TRNSMT 2018 alongside Franz Ferdinand. Back in October, Alex Kapranos and co announced details of their new album Always Ascending – their first since 2013's Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action – as well as a UK tour to come in February.

TRNSMT 2018 takes place at Glasgow Green on 29 Jun, 30 Jun, and 1 Jul, and 6 & 8 Jul at Glasgow Green. Tickets for 8 Jul (The Killers, CHVRCHES, Franz Ferdinand and more) go on sale on Fri 8 Dec
