This year's Great Escape festival features a showcase of some of Scotland's best up-and-coming acts, presented by Creative Scotland. Day one at the festival featured sets from 19-year-old singer-songwriter and producer Be Charlotte, Glasgow-based surf-pop/grunge quartet The Van T’s, Clackmannanshire songwriter Emme Woods and Motherwell five-piece The LaFontaines.
Day two featured sets from three Glasgow acts; Saint PHNX, Spinning Coin and TeenCanteen as well as Paisley grime artist Shogun. Check out pictures from the showcase, courtesy of photographer Jannica Honey, and get the lowdown on the Scottish bands who played this year's Great Escape festival in our round-up.
