Doune the Rabbit Hole have announced the first wave of acts for the 2018 festival this July, and they're an eclectic bunch. Among the early stand-outs for DTRH – which this year takes place in July compared to the August timeslot of previous years – include the mumbling New York indie-pop of Frankie Cosmos, the new collaborative project from sardonic Scottish troubadours Aidan Moffat and RM Hubbert, and returning Edinburgh indie greats We Were Promised Jetpacks.

Also catching the eye are a UK exclusive set from Berlin industrial duo Atari Teenage Riot, and spots for some of our favourite up-and-coming Scottish acts including BooHooHoo and Fauves. The line-up is headed by the ferociously independent MC, activist and rapper Akala, the indie-folk of This Is The Kit, and a Scottish exclusive set from Levellers.

Doune the Rabbit Hole takes place 13-15 July at Cardross Estate near Lake of Menteith, Stirling; tickets on sale now via dounetherabbithole.co.uk/2018-tickets
