Dot to Dot festival reveals first bands for 2016
Venue-hopping all-day festival Dot to Dot has announced its first wave of acts for 2016, including Mystery Jets and The Temper Trap
Dot to Dot festival has announced Mystery Jets as its headliners for 2016. The band will play all three instalments of the festival, which takes place in Manchester, Bristol and Nottingham between 27-29 May.
The eleventh edition of the annual festival will also feature anthemic indie popsters The Temper Trap, Danish outfit LISS, and young singer-songwriter Lauren Aquilina – and some 'very special' co-headliners to be announced. The Manchester leg of the festival takes place in various venues around the Northern Quarter area of the city, with venues including Soup Kitchen, Gullivers and Night and Day all taking part.
The festival prides itself on an eclectic lineup of up-and-coming talent, with previous editions having seen performances from The xx, SBTRKT, Peace and more. Many more acts will be added to the bill over the coming weeks – full details of the first wave of bookings can be found below:
Dot to Dot 2016 is at various venues in Manchester on Friday 27 May, Bristol on Saturday 28 May, and Nottingham on Sunday 29 May. Tickets are priced at £11 and available via dottodotfestival.co.uk.
