Festival Watch: Pitchfork, ATP and Primavera team up for London's Jabberwocky

Jabberwocky (15-16 Aug), taking place for the first time this year at London's Excel Centre, is a joint venture between behemoth of the music blogs, Pitchfork, and festival heavyweights All Tomorrow's Parties and Primavera. Delivering not just music, but art and film strands as well, the inaugural festival will feature live appearances from Neutral Milk Hotel, Deafheaven, Caribou, Connan Mockasin, Pissed Jeans, Speedy Ortiz, Iceage, I Break Horses, Chelsea Wolfe, Metz, Hookworms, Jesu and more. Field Day (7-8 Jun) have announced Animal Collective founder Avey Tare's Slasher Flicks for their bill - the band also features Angel Deradoorian (ex-Dirty Projectors) and Jeremy Hyman (ex-Ponytails). They join the already-announced likes of Daniel Avery, Metronymy, Ghostpoet, Evian Christ and others. Details and tickets here.
