Festival Watch: MELT!, Way Out West, Electric Elephant, T in the Park, Isle of Wight, Hop Farm

Germany's MELT! Festival (18-20 Jul) adds to its already-impressive lineup, with new additions confirmed including Darkside, Bombay Bicycle Club, Jungle, SBTRKT, Four Tet, Pantha Du Prince, John Talabot, Of Montreal, Tale of Us, Tourist, Planningtorock, Pretty Lights, S O H N, Son Lux, Tale of Us, Tourist, WhoMadeWho and Wolf Alice joining the already-announced likes of Portishead, Bombay Bicycle Club and Fuck Buttons. Way Out West (7-9 Aug), which takes place in Gotheburg in Sweden, will be welcoming headliners Röyksopp and Robyn, performing together, alongside Queens of the Stone Age, Deafheaven and Neutral Milk Hotel, and new lineup additions Brody Dalle (ex-Distillers), I Break Horses, Forest Swords, Shlomo, Chlöe Howl, Pusha T, Holly Herndon, and Machinedrum. Croatia's Electric Elephant (10-14 Jul) will be featuring a strong electronic bill, with performances from Derrick May, Horse Meat Disco, Justin Robertson, Prosumer, Munk, Ashley Beedle, Awesome Tapes From Africa and others - check the full lineup and book tickets here.

The Hop Farm Festival (4-6 Jul) lineup continues to grow, with latest additions Maxïmo Park, Bellowhead, Eliza Doolittle, Marc Almond, Full English, Scouting For Girls, Slow Club, Family Rain, The Beat, Midlake, and, erm, Chas and Dave joining the bill alongside headliner Brian Wilson. And finally, Scotland's T in the Park (11-13 Jul) have announced a second headliner for their 2014 outing - joining the previously-announced Arctic Monkeys will be singer-songwriter Paolo Nutini. Also adding a few names to its bill is the Isle of Wight Festival (12-15 Jun) - they have added Fall Out Boy, Suede, Anna Calvi, Tom Odell, Ella Eyre, The Pretty Reckless, Starsailor, Boy George, The Struts, Alison Moyet, Amber Run, Inspiral Carpets and Katy B to their lineup, joining the likes of The Horrors, Travis and Swim Deep.
