Festival Watch: Lineup announcements for Latitude, The Great Escape, MELT! and more

Field Day (7-8 Jun) have confirmed a second wave of artists for their two-day extravaganza at London's Victoria Park. Joining headliners such as Pixies and Metronomy will be East India Youth, LuckyMe's Eclair FiFi and Lunice, Daniel Avery back to back with his Phantasy boss Erol Alkan, Evian Christ, Ghostpoet, Jackmaster and Oneman, Jagwar Ma, and Simian Mobile Disco, among others. The Great Escape (8-10 May), Brighton's in-the-city festival, has announced the first 100 artists for its 2014 outing, including recently Ninja Tune-signed headliner Kelis. Other artists coming to the festival, which focuses mainly on underground and emerging bands, include Flux Pavilion, Jeremiah Jae and PAWWS. See the full lineup here, and order tickets.

In Scotland, alternative festival and self-described 'world ceilidh' Knockengorroch (22-25 May) returns again this Spring, welcoming Ninja Tune legends Coldcut, Dub Pistols, and the legendary Mungo's Hi-Fi Sound System, among others, and a whole raft of Scottish talent, yet to be announced. Damon Albarn will be making his only UK festival appearance at this year's Latitude (17-20 Jul), showcasing tracks from his new album. Joining Albarn will be Two Door Cinema Club, Röyksopp and Robyn performing together, plus Haim, Billy Bragg, Phosphorescent, and Son Lux, among others. Over in Germany, this year's MELT! Festival (18-20 Jul) will also feature Metronymy, and Röyksopp & Robyn, alongside Portishead, Moderat, Baauer, Brodinski, Fuck Buttons, and many more, with more to be announced - lineup so far is here, book tickets here.

Hungary's Horizon Festival (8-14 Mar), one of the first in the 2014 calendar, will welcome Zed Bias, EliphinoKerri Chandler, Âme and Andreya Triana are among the artists confirmed, alongside some tasty 'label showcases' from emerging taste-makers around the globe. Full lineup and details here.

Back in the UK, the Bugged Out Weekender (7-9 March) will welcome a veritable who's who of high-end dance music, with Andrew Weatherall, Carl Craig, Daniel Avery, Dave Clarke, Joy Orbison and Skream among the acts confirmed. Full lineup and tickets here
