The electronic music-focused Eastern Electrics (2 Aug), taking place in Hertfordshire, will run for just one day this year, but the bill is packed with talent – they will play host to Art Department, Ellen Allien, Kerri Chandler and others, with stages curated by the likes of Mulletover and Rinse. Details and tickets here.

Nozstock (1-3 Aug), an eclectic UK festival taking place in the Hereford hills, have confirmed the first acts for their 2014 lineup – they have so far announce Roots Manuva, The Skints, and Mr. B The Gentleman Rhymer, with more to be added. They also offer on-site art, comedy, workshops, cinema and performance along with the bands - expect an interesting mix of artforms and a discerning crowd. Details and tickets here.

And finally, the Flow Festival (8-10 Aug) in Finland have added two local names to their bill – recent Sub Pop signee Mirel Wagner and synth-pop duo Sin Cos Tan join headliners Outkast at the Finnish event, and both bands will also play at a Flow-curated stage at Brighton's The Great Escape (8-10 May).
