Festival Watch: ATP Iceland, Isle of Wight, Green Man, Unknown, Willowman

Unknown (8-12 Sep) takes place in Croatia, spread across boats, forest glades, island beaches and poolside soundsystems, and this year they've cooked up a convincing lineup of bands, electronic musicians and DJs. CHVRCHES and Wild Beasts will both be in attendance, sitting near the top of a bill that will also feature Mount Kimbie, Forest Swords, James Holden and Lapalux playing live, and DJ sets from Daniel Avery, Jackmaster, Joy Orbison, Bicep, Dusky, Horse Meat Disco, Mano Le Tough, Seth Troxler and Simian Mobile Disco. A quick update on ATP Iceland (10-12 Jul) – they've announced another big booking in the form of Neil Young and Crazy Horse. Young and his band will be playing not dureing the festival, but as part of a special series of pre-festival events happening from 7 July onwards – find out details and book tickets here.

This year's Isle of Wight Festival (12-15 Jun) have added Kings of Leon to their already stellar bill, currently topped by Red Hot Chilli Peppers and Biffy Clyro. Check out the full lineup and buy tickets here.

Green Man (14-17 Aug) takes place in Glanusk, Wales, and this year they will be welcoming Beirut, Neutral Milk Hotel, First Aid Kit, Kurt Vile, Daughter, Poliça, Anna Calvi, Sharon Van Etten, I Break Horses, TOY, Lanterns on the Lake and others – check out the lineup here, and buy tickets here. 

The Willowman Festival (19-22 June) takes place in North Yorkshire, with a focus on folk, world and roots music. This year they will welcome Bob Marley's legendary band The Wailers, DJ Craig Charles, Ruts DC, Radical Dance Faction, Alabama 3 offshoot Mountain of Love, Pikey Beatz and others.
