NEoN, the Dundee-based digital arts festival, has announced details of its NEoN at Night party which will this year feature a unique set from Sunderland duo Field Music.

On the night Peter and David Brewis will be accompanied by visuals from guitarist/designer Kevin Dosdale and long-time film collaborator Andy Martin, playing a set taken from across their extensive back catalogue. Peter Brewis says: "We're music makers in a digital world and our means and methods of production, dissemination and, in fact, our very existence is reliant on digital technology. It's enabled us to make our way of doing things a subtle act of resistance.”

Support acts for Field Music will be announced later; the night will also feature DJ sets from frequent NEoN collaborators RHL and Wee Beastie. NEoN at Night takes place at Church, Ward Road, Dundee on Saturday 9 November – tickets go on sale on Friday 13 September.

Further details on this year's NEoN Digital Arts Festival, which is centred around the theme 'React', will be announced in the coming weeks. NEoN has also issued a call for volunteers for this year's festival – a volunteer recruitment night will take place on Thursday 3 October from 5.30pm at Unit 5, Vision Building, 20 Greenmarket, Dundee.
