New to the line-up for this year's festival – which runs from 9-12 Nov – are the likes of Avey Tare of Animal Collective, METZ, Kevin Morby, Iron & Wine collaborator Jesca Hoop and Thurston Moore Group. LGW? has also unveiled details of 12-Hour Drone, a half-day immersive event featuring improvisations and experimentation from a host of artists from across the globe.

A celebration of the music of Alice Coltrane Turiyasangitananda has also been announced, with Coltrane's music performed by the Sai Anantam Ashram Singers for the first time in Europe, and Perfume Genius augments his curated line-up with a rare live show from cult Canadian songwriter Mary Margaret O’Hara. O'Hara joins Lost Horizons (the new project from Cocteau Twins' Simon Raymonde), Aldous Harding, Weyes Blood, Julianna Barwick and Mount Eerie.

Elsewhere, electronic producer James Holden presents a line-up that includes Moroccan musician Maâlem Houssam Guinia, the Hieroglyphic Being project of American sound artist and experimental composer Jamal Moss, ambient duo XAM Duo and experimental ensemble Ex-Easter Island Head. Avant-garde hip-hop duo Shabazz Palaces, Basilica Soundscape, Jerusalem in My Heart, Grouper and Dutch jazz drummer Han Bennink make up this year's curatorial line-up, while the main festival bill includes tUnE-yArDs, Jane Weaver, Ben Frost, Jambinai and Sun Kil Moon. In addition, running concurrently to the festival is the largest record fair in the world – The Mega Record & CD Fair – which will host over 500 stands.
