Tony Woods

Woods is the guy with the non-stop supply of funny stories that someone invited round

In the TV chat show world, The Green Room is the place where that evening's guests mingle and await their slot on screen. But in the world of the Fringe, The Green Room is a decidedly more low-key affair. There's no super-celebs hanging at this venue, but then there's not that many people here in the first place. That's not a bad thing, as Washington DC native Tony Woods isn't the sort of comedian who needs a big crowd to thrive.

The small crowd and Woods' laid-back demeanor create an atmosphere like you're sitting in someone's front room, rather than a small Fringe venue, with Woods being the guy with the non-stop supply of funny stories that someone invited round. If you want to see a good comedian, but can't be hassled with the queues and maddening crowds of the big venues, then go see Tony Woods.
