Two Hearts are better than one in this loved-up musical wedding show

Real-life married couple Laura Daniel and Joseph Moore confess their love (and more) to each other in Til Death Do Us Hearts, a bouncy late-night shindig based (very) loosely on their recent nuptials.

The duo’s dynamic is really refreshing – there’s no straight person per se, just Moore being a little more restrained than his wife, until he lets rip, 2010s rap stylee. The punchlines to some of their more memorable songs are refreshing too – you’ll never guess why Moore is financially stable, but it’ll leave you cackling in the aisles. Likewise their holiday banger, reminiscent of Confidence Man in melody and energy, has a twist which gets funnier and funnier.

A few of their songs don’t hook you in the same way – a Dua Lipa-inspired number about getting a cold on a night out, their countrified opener explaining that a wedding doesn’t change a relationship – but they’re a pleasant watch and their onstage dynamic keeps things ticking over nicely. Their patter is loving and loud, especially when Daniel storms off to the toilet ‘cos she’s bored and Moore has to hold the fort on his own. In lesser hands, Daniel’s heightened persona could be grating but deep down, you know she has a heart of gold.

Praise should also go to the pair’s costuming – Moore’s garish pink leopard print suit and Daniel’s multiple costume changes (all white of course) add to the chintzy wedding vibe they’re going for, and the flower arch over the focal DJ booth looks freshly stolen from the last marquee you were in. Til Death Do Us Hearts is huge amounts of fun thanks to the couple we’re here to celebrate. Stick on a disco and you’d have us well-oiled and on their dancefloor, stat.
