Come Flyer With Me: Keith Farnan

The first year I was in Edinburgh, I did all my own flyering and had this genius idea to stand at the top of the royal mile with an Irish flag flying overhead to attract people.

It really worked well and punters would actually come to me to look for a flyer but then one day towards the end, a quite angry, slightly tattooed, drunken man came over and shouted in my face, "Are you Irish?" to which I quite wittily replied, "Whatever gave you that idea my good man" in my best Jeeves and Wooster Accent.

I then watched as the confusion spread across his face and he stumbled down the road unsure as to whether there really was a flag there at all.
