EIFF 2011 open for business

Submissions for EIFF 2011 are now open

Feature by Jamie Dunn | 01 Nov 2010

Are you a filmmaker waiting to be discovered? What better place to do so than the Edinburgh International Film Festival, which today opened submissions to its 65th annual celebration of cinema. Billed as the “festival of discovery”, it is a perfect platform for first and second time directors eager to display their work to an international audience.

In recent years the festival has helped launch the careers of Marianna Palka (Good Dick, 2008), Duncan Jones (Moon, 2009) and Nick Whitfield (Skeletons, 2010). Perhaps you will be EIFF 2011’s great discovery.

To submit your film go to http://www.edfilmfest.org.uk/submissions.
