London Fashion Week 2009 Schedule Announced

What will the people of the future be wearing? Will shorts ever look good on men? Will jelly shoes be an inspired investment for summers to come?

Article by Alexandra Fiddes | 22 Jul 2009

Hopefully the time machine that is London Fashion Week will reveal all, as the show line-up and schedule for spring / summer 2010 has just been announced.

Opening 18 September with LFW stalwart Paul Costelloe, the event will see offerings from Maria Grachvogel, Matthew Williamson, Clements Ribeiro and hotly tipped Charles Anastase, before British icons Burberry close on Tuesday 22nd. My golden ticket would be for Scotland's darling, Christopher Kane showing 21 September. Will there be anymore Flight Of The Concords-esque animal prints?

With LFW being a trade event, mere mortals aren't permitted to hang with the darlings of Fashion at it's new home Somerset House. However you can keep up to date with information, photos, blogs and more at londonfashionweek.co.uk

If you do fancy a trip down to the Big Smoke, to bask in the faint whiff of the departing beautiful people, London Fashion Weekend (24 - 27 September) is open to the public. Tickets for this designer shopping event start at £12.50, where you will see a variety of collections, rounding up autumn / winter 2009 and introducing the spring / summer 2010 lines.
