Preview by Ailsa Mullins | 30 Apr 2013

The better weather is finally apon us, so what better time to brush away those winter cobwebs and indulge in some springtime shopping, all in the name of charity!

Ditch the high street and check out the carefully curated collection of the very best of new, nearly new and vintage designer fashion at Fashion Dash at The Scottish Gallery on 30 April for Marie Curie. For one day only, The Scottish Gallery will offer the savvy shopper and the bargain hunter over 2,000 designer and high end garments, shoes and accessories.

Expect summer dresses, stylish strappy sandals, as well as jeans from designers such as Armani, Gucci and Lulu Guinness. You could even snap up a pair of unworn Louboutins! For those more sceptical about the
Scottish 'spring/summer' weather, a range of fur coats, boots and Nell Graham knits are available too. A
vintage rail filled with everyday pieces will mean that there is something to satisfy every taste.

Along with the variety of designer and vintage garments available, there will also be a raffle including; a Yvette Jelfs hat, a Chic Outlet voucher, a Jane Raven artwork, and a Marianne Anderson garnet cluster ring, amongst many other goodies!

The event runs for 8am to 8pm, so allows for pre-and post-work visits. For those who need to rest their tired (Prada) heels, there will be home-baking and teas and coffees available in the café from 10am – 4pm. All included in the £5 ticket price.

Every penny raised at Fashion Dash will go to Marie Curie Cancer Care so head along, spend some money, grab a bargain and we'll see you there!
