Love Fashion: Manchester was first launched at Vogue's Fashion's Night Out, and now returns as part of an exclusive evening of shopping events, discounts, music and fashion organised by the Heart of Manchester BID.

It was founded to provide a platform for independent designers to showcase their collections alongside major high-street brands. The first event was seen by over 5000 people making Manchester the go-to city for seekers of independent designs outside of London.

This year's event is being organised by Heart of Manchester BID as part of the MCR Student Takeover, a student discount night, where shops stay open to 9pm and students can receive discounts of up to 30% across 200 stores.

Love Fashion: Manchester will be held in the pavilion in St Ann's Square, where guests will preview exclusive designs from fashion graduates and independent brands and online boutiques will be hosting pop up shops with a series of catwalks being held throughout the day. Brands and boutiques at the event include award winning ethical womenswear label Mia by Mia Nisbet, alternative streetwear from Green/House Boutique, and new menswear fashion label Uneducated Clothing. Workshops and Q&A sessions will be on offer to aspiring fashion writers, model agency Cliché will be scouting for new faces, and urban trend spotter The Mancorialist will be attending the event capturing the street style from the fashion-conscious crowd.

Love Fashion: Manchester is more than a retail focused event; it allows aspiring creatives to experience fashion as seen through the eyes of innovative designers and professionals in their field.
