December Events: Rock The Catwalk, Dundee

Hosted by Duncan of Jordanstone's Textile Students, Rock The Catwalk is a fashion show aimed to raise funds for the students to participate in New Designers (a showcase of student work, held annually in London). Rock The Catwalk will include clothing from local boutiques, charity shops and retailers around the city,  including work from one student, Taisir Gibreel, who has been creating and selling fair-trade garments for the last three years. The fashion show itself will be held in Fat Sam's on the Wednesday 9 December and will be followed by an after party in Fat Sam's live. Rock the Catwalk also involves thirty brave student models.

Tickets are available from the fourth year textile studio. Or alternatively from participating Dundee stores: Rattbags, Green Squirrel, Arkive, Wild is the Wind, Beco, Zion a Star is Born, Rara, The Kilt Company, Missy Lala, The British Heart Foundation, Shelter.
