ATTIC & 55DSL OFFICIAL 10.55 LAUNCH PARTY!

Article by Lindsay West | 01 Oct 2008

Attention Aberdonians: your lovely Belmont St Attic Clothing has only gone and scored you a doozie of a fashion exclusive, so keep the night of the 8th October free, and listen up.

Big noisy street superbrand 55DSL – Diesel’s cousin, and the label that insists you “live at least 55 seconds per day” – is bringing its 10.55 project to Attic Clothing, and it’s the only place north of the border you’ll be able to bag one of their limited edition shirts.
55DSL’s annual 10.55 project commissions five graphic artists from across the globe and lets them run wild, artistically speaking, all over a shirt, printing only 1055 shirts worldwide of each design. The artists this year are Brosmind (Spain), Andrew Rementer (USA), Arthur King (France), and Komatsu 1000 and Luke Insect from the UK.

To celebrate Attic’s status as the only Scottish stockist of the 10.55 project shirts, the lovely folks at 55DSL are descending on Belmont St for a monster launch night, including a preview of the A/W 08 55DSL collection, exclusive giveaways, goodie bags and one off discounts; all to the sounds of some impressive DJ sets. Preview the shirts here, then get down to Attic to grab your favourite.

WEDNESDAY, 8 OCTOBER 6pm-8pm @ ATTIC CLOTHING, Belmont Street, Aberdeen FRAZER MCGLINCHEY (Ultragroove) 8pm-12pm @ THE MUSIC CLUB, Langstane Place, Aberdeen GINO (Motherfunk, Soul Biscuits) FUNKY TRANSPORT (Snafu) and a live performance from COPY HAHO www.atticclothing.com
