The Merry-Go-Round Comedy Club

Now that Easter’s over with, West Lothian comedy fans can thoroughly overindulge on a bumper box of comedic treats at The Merry Go Round Comedy Club. Continuing the current trend for taking comedy beyond the city centres, Nicola Connor (previously of The Stand) new promotion company Nicola Connor Management is starting a monthly gig at The Hilcroft Hotel, Whitburn. For the grand opening on May 1st, the delicious and distinctly Scottish-flavoured sweeties include compere Keir McAllister (Finalist, Scottish Comedian of the Year 2008), John Gavin (Finalist, So You Think You’re Funny 2008), Fringe favourite Gary Little and fresh from supporting Frankie Boyle’s latest tour and causing chaos at the Glasgow Comedy Festival , the controversial Reverend Obadiah Steppenwolfe III. The Comedy Club will run on the first Friday of every month at the Hilcroft Hotel.
