Solescience really push the boat out tonight, with extra special visuals, free two-tone Robocop specs and disco-glam decor. It's a bit silly really, but it's impressive and sets a suitably kooky tone for the antics to follow. To begin, resident boys Rob and Nick lay down soulful, funky house beats with a smattering of jazzy and latin loops, finally whetting the crowd's dancefloor palette with some harder edged electro house. During the very height of cowboy fashion, silliness, and magnetic bravado, the Greenskeepers straddle the stage. It's evident from their command of the stage that bassist Nick, and vocalist James run the show, and they're having just as much fun as the sweaty capering fools in the front row. Moments of rapture include Polo Club from the eponymous album, Alphabet Man, Love Lobotomy, Warm and Dry, and tying up the encore, the epic Lotion with their typically lurid undertones, oozing Greenskeepers personality in a truly uplifitng finale.
