Hamburg-based label Collision release this third album from talented Parisian duo Seven Dub, aka former Pro-Zak Trax artist Patrick Bylebyl and Guillaume Metenier. Seven Dub, notorious for their own blend of house, jazz and dub give us yet another dose of cool, smooth grooves. With the added bonus of well-reputed, artistic vocalists including the stylistic and silky tones of Angelique Wilkie, the rub-a-dub flow of fellow Jamaican Zakeya, Paul St Hilaire and finally Studio One's Deejay Lone Ranger. The album provides enough house to keep the vibe upbeat, contrasting in parts with a more muted dub-based repertoire. Highlights of the album resound in the tracks Rock with Me and U & Dem. The only debatable low point features on the track My Only Lover which is decidedly lacklustre. This album provides dub-inspired grooves with a large dose of soul. [Gemma Couper]

Released March 15.
