Rex - Alternate Reality/Introspective Mix

Rex marries galloping breaks with probing, squelchy psy-noise in this hybrid alien tune. A complex psychedelic landscape weaves itself out of little more than electronic glitchiness and static at times, but remains grounded by the tight breaks-influences and bouncy formula. The grimier Introspective remix echoes Rennie Pilgrem's Black Widow at times, with a delayed build up and background bongos, but Rex stamps his lost-in-mindspace persona all over it - the dubiously 'ethereal' chimes being the only flaw.
