Muddyloop - Girl on Girl

If a horny guy growling about lesbian action is your thing, fair enough, but it's otherwise best avoided

Muddyloop (Blonde Peterson and Metro Williams) release second single Girl on Girl this month, taken from the album Flight Night, in which the boys aim to "break hearts, spread legs and shake booties." This release is certainly sleazy, but not in a good way. While the electro-funk beat isn't too bad, the lyrics are truly awful. If a horny guy growling about lesbian action is your thing, fair enough, but it's otherwise best avoided. Very similar to previous single Body Sweat, the boys try in vain to produce abstract Prince-inspired pseudo pop-funk, but instead can only offer bland, unimaginative electro tracks. [Karen Taggart]
