M3 Project - A Better Man EP

does more than just the customary standard of big bass lines and phat beats

Album Review by Gemma Couper | 15 Jul 2006
Album title: A Better Man EP
Artist: M3 Project
Label: Darkroom Dubs
This is the first release from the M3 boys, aka drum and bass duo Sebastian Barrymore and Dan Braine. The EP features 3 tracks all on the electro house tip with a darker and moodier vibe. For Dan this venture from 175 bpms to a slower tempo has created a welcome deviation from his already well established pseudonym, Silent Witness, who has current releases on his own label DNAudio and Metalheadz. For Sebastian, this release progresses from his first release last year, 'Heavy Shoulders' under the Split Coffee name. 'A Better Man EP' does more than just the customary standard of big bass lines and phat beats, adding the M3 Project's flair for musicality with plenty of hooks and syths. These two talented musicians take electronic house to a whole new level. 'A Better Man' is an excellent debut from M3 Project and will have fans eager for more. [Gemma Couper]
