Designed to send audiences into a frenzy on the dancefloor, backed with frenetic breakbeats and snappy bass rhythms

Album title: Stateless Flavour Mix
Artist: KidKanEvil
Label: !K7
This disc is divided into two halves: the first is full of choppy wah-wah guitars, designed to send audiences into a frenzy on the dancefloor, backed with frenetic breakbeats and snappy bass rhythms. The second half takes a more reflective mood, with acoustic guitars and soulful vocals coming to the fore. This gives a chance to pause for breath and attains a nice balance to the mix. No one track is ever allowed to dominate and each is allowed roughly the same length of time to showcase before being cut off (sometimes literally) to make way for the next one. This is both a good mix for clubs and an excellent Sunday morning comedown soundtrack. [Jonathan Robert Muirhead]
