Inner Rhythm is a brand new night for Cabaret Voltaire, dedicated to the sound and spirit of true Detroit techno. For their opening night, Brotherhood provided a live set using all kinds of technical wizardry, with support from the Inner Rhythm DJs James Clark, Deetek and Scott Murray. The Cab was busy but there was still room to strut your funky stuff on the packed dancefloor and the crowd were clearly loving it - getting down to the electronic beats and tasty tunes. Of late it seems everyone's been complaining about the lack of good weekend techno clubs in Edinburgh, but if Inner Rhythm's successful first night was anything to go by, it looks like the crew could be stealing the Friday night crown, providing a fresh and exciting addition to Edinburgh's clubbing scene.
