Future Loop Foundation - Sunshine Philosophy EP

Organic Chill-out' surely reached its nadir with performances in tropical glasshouses in Cornwall, yet some people just haven't learned. This remix EP is released as a precursor to album The Fading Room, based on the concept of orchestral accompaniment to old recordings of family conversations. Rob Da Bank is the chief 'name-drop' among the remixers, but his Sunshine Philosophy remix with Chris Coco fails to breathe life into a rather pallid instrumental. The Beauty Room remix of Everything As It Should Be is marginally better. Nice, but a bit wishy-washy; and five years late into the bargain. [Pete Ballantine]
